A Pilgrim’s Rest Guesthouse in Graskop, Mpumalanga provides accommodation in 5 guest rooms for tourists visiting the Panorama Route region.
A Pilgrim’s Rest offers accommodation within walking distance of the town centre of Graskop. Attractions such as the world famous God’s Window and the start of the Blyde River Canyon Route are within close driving distance.
The Guesthouse is lovingly furnished in a true Victorian style, reminding one of the late 1800’s gold digging era which is so true to this area. The house has five rooms and offers accommodation up to a maximum of 12 guests.
There is a lovely lounge with a fireplace accessible to all guests and a true farm-style kitchen where a full English breakfast is prepared at R150PP. At the back of the house is a spacious garden where guests are welcome to relax.
All rooms are en-suite. There are three Deluxe Double Rooms, one Family Room (sleeps four guests) and one Deluxe Twin Room. The bathrooms are also decorated true to the era with some featuring antique baths with ‘over-bath’ showers.
The Twin Room features a big walk-in shower. All rooms are fitted with full air conditioning with heating during winter and cooling during summer. For cold nights most beds also feature electric blankets.
Guests have the option to have breakfast at the Guesthouse but we are also just around the corner from the very famous Harries Pancakes should you wish to opt for breakfast there. We are within walking distance of the three main dinner restaurants in town with the closest one less than 100m away.
Facilities

Upon 50% capacity or more booked for a evening ,we also offer a lovely 3 course meal and menu’s will be shared upon confirmation on request for dinner at our lovely Guest House.

Decorated from the Victorian Era, when the pilgrims first explored our lovely scenic area. We have beautiful antique furniture and gorgeous ornaments.

At the end of a wonderful day of sightseeing and adventure, take a load off and enjoy a lovely cup of tea (or coffee) in our garden area.

Each room has its own bathroom including a bath and toilet. Our Delux Double room also has a shower.

Soap, shampoo, body lotion ... the necessities. And of course we have towels available too.
Parking Space
There are facilities to make your own cup of tea or coffee available in room and in the main area.

A small writing desk in each room where you can catch up on work if need be.
NO Smoking
Our rooms are strictly non-smoking, there is a smoking area outside in our garden.

Fresh linen is supplied for each room and the rooms are serviced daily.
